SACRAMENTAL PREPARATION

Journey towards the founts of grace

The Sacraments are founts of grace to help us to live lives in closer communion with God and with selfless love for our neighbour. Jesus Christ left the Sacraments to the Church as sure ways for us to grow in holiness through the power of the Holy Spirit.

In obedience to Christ’s command to preach the Gospel to all people and the Church’s mission to save souls and bring people into the one Body of Christ which is the Catholic Church, the CMfD provides formation for the Deaf community in preparation for the reception of the Sacraments.

From the RCIA for those seeking to journey in their faith and become living members of the Body of Christ, to preparation for infant Baptism, First Holy Communion, Confirmation, confession in the Sacrament of Penance, Marriage, and the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick, the community’s catechists are ready to guide the Deaf to receive this gifts of God’s grace.
